So you and your family love cycling, but why go to the hassle of bringing your bikes with you.  Here at Wall Eden Farm we have a full range of mountain bikes for hire, so you can pop out for a blast on the bike whenever you feel like it.

Cycling from  Wall Eden across the Somerset Levels. Cycling along quiet country roads exploring  Wedmore and other villages, calling at local pubs for lunch.  Cycle across the Somerset Levels to the famous,Glastonbury Abbey, Torr and Chalice Wells Garden. 

The Somerset levels are a perfect place to cycle.  The flat landscape, quiet roads and numerous cycle paths mean that it is the perfect place for families and beginners to explore by bike.  For the more adventurous or if you are simply looking for slightly more of a challenge with your bike riding - the Mendips and Cheddar Gorge are only 10 miles away, and the Quantocks and Exmoor just a short drive away.

There are a range of mountain bikes for hire from reception at Wall Eden Farm.

Charges:

•    £6.00 per day per bike
•    £35.00 per week per bike
•    £24.00 family day hire (four bikes)
 

 

Please hire cycles at time of booking your holiday accomodation at Wall Eden.

 

The following information must be understood and adhered to by the cyclist

 
Health and Safety   
Terms and conditions. Amended 2010
Hirer and riders are required to wear safety equipment including helmets  and suitable clothing at all times.
Ride within there capacity.
Be competent road users.
They must not ride if they do not feel confident or have not cycled recently, or have health condition which affects the safe use of the cycle.
The rider will not race or jump off curbs.
The company will check for faults at the beginning of each hire and annually maintain the cycle in good condition, when not on hire. The hirer/ rider will check for faults prior to all cycle trips or daily, which is ever the most frequent
The rider will familiarize themselves with the gears and functions of the cycle
The rider will avoid collision with other road users. The rider will comply with the laws of this country
Ride at safe speed at all times.
Ride at a speed to avoid incidents
For clarity: The Company is the owner of the cycles. The hirer is the cyclist or guest or visitor renting the cycle.
