Our beautiful independent holiday park, in the Somerset Countryside, close to Burnham on Sea, has been run as a family farm since 1927. Now owned and managed by Andy Wall, Wall Eden was originally a dairy farm, and Andy's dad (Colin) milked the dairy herd here since the 1950's for over 50 years. Sadly when milk prices fell it became impossible to continue, and the family got together to create Wall Eden Farm holiday park. A unique and independent holiday experience, with beautiful luxury log cabin lodges, arranged across several acres on the edge of the Somerset Levels.
A far cry from caravans or B&B holidays, at Wall Eden Farm, it's about enjoying an authentic Somerset experience.
Of course our Holiday Park has completely changed our family farm as we knew it, but we still farm and we keep sheep, chickens and beef cattle but on a much reduced scale. This small scale farming integrates well with the relaxed approach to holidaying in Somerset, and many people enjoy finding out more about our farm, and, of course, we're always happy to explain or invite people to take part if they wish.
We love our way of life here at Wall Eden Holiday park, as it means we meet people from all over the country and world. We enjoy showing people to their log cabin lodges, and hearing about their holidays with us.
We support local trades and businesses, and aim to introduce our guests to local pubs and locally farmed foods. We cncourage you to use our local baker, village, shop and butcher. Andrew was Awarded the learning Skills Award for the South West of England 2010, for work helping others with disabilities.
