Somerset England’s most Rural County

You have chosen one of the easiest counties to explore, whether by Car, Train or Bicycle, Somerset is easy to explore.

Wall Eden is set on the edge of the Somerset Levels and Wetlands, so if its going from place to place avoiding traffic this is one of the few places where traffic congestion can be avoided.

From Wall Eden, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, The Witch of Wookey Hole, Wells Cathedral, Clarks Village, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and Chalice Well Garden can be driven to by driving across the Somerset Wetlands avoiding all traffic.

Even better than driving, those who are willing to cycle across the Somerset levels on near empty roads and few hills, which would hardly break a sweat, you can call at the tea rooms in Wedmore, before  cycling on to your desired destination.

Highbridge Train Station is 3 miles a way with connections to the main town of Taunton ( 17 mins)  or City of Bristol only 35mins from Highbridge.
