Get ready to take a magical tour through the wonders of the ocean and uncover the secrets the waters hold! Watch as thousands of amazing aquatic creatures glide through the water including seahorses, puffer fish, piranhas and more. You’ll feel as though you’ve diving straight into the Great Barrier Reef as you journey through the Bay of Rays, the Mighty Amazon and the Coral Seas.

Then wander through the underwater tunnel and marvel at the sharks and fish swimming above your head! When you finally head back to dry land venture through the huge Urban Jungle, not too be missed as Bristol is the only aquarium in the UK to feature a giant botanical house!

The biggest, most dramatic gorge in Britain, with cliffs rising to 450ft and two beautiful stalactite caverns! The 3 mile long Cheddar Gorge, created by successive Ice Age melt-waters, was first occupied by your ancestors (Homo britannicus) 40,000 years ago.

Climb the 274 steps up the side of the Gorge, then 48 more to the top of the Lookout Tower! There are 4 landing stages for those who prefer a slower pace.

In the Museum of Pre-History kids can try their hand at cave painting, enjoy summer demonstrations of flint knapping and fire making and learn how your ancestors survived the ice age.

From aerial climbing to the fast and furious slides, there is something for everyone including an indoor adventure play zone with loads of fun features and a dedicated toddler area with ball pool.

A visit to Bristol Zoo Gardens is an adventure into an exciting animal kingdom, all set within 12 acres of beautiful grounds and award-winning gardens.

Get up close to over 400 exotic and endangered species from all over the world. Venture through the tropics in the Butterfly Forest or immerse yourself in the Seal and Penguin coast.

Why not visit some of the other great attractions onsite? Swing in the trees like your animal friends on the high ropes course at Zooropia or get your toes wet at the water play area; Splash. There’s even an adventure playground and The Hideout Restaurant especially for feeding time at the zoo!

50 Minutes from Wall Eden Farm
Forde Abbey Historical House and Gardens is a lovely working, family estate, with a number of features that offer an enjoyable day out for all ages. The house is open between April and October (inclusive), but the gardens are open throughout the year.

Wide open lawns and the space and freedom to explore makes Forde Abbey a great day out for all the family. Watch wildlife on the lake and don’t forget to pick up a children’s pack in the shop for activities to do around the house and gardens. Enjoy lunch and home-baked treats in the tearoom and pick up pocket money gifts and souvenirs on sale in the gift shop!

Grand Pier is the ultimate indoor theme park that is open every day except Christmas Day, making it a great all weather attraction. There is something here for all ages, ensuring everyone in the family has fun!

If you fancy a thrill, there is a 300m split level go karting circuit and a F1 driver simulator. There are also dodgems, a firm favourite with all ages, plus the smallest rollercoaster in Britain, powered by a robotic arm!

There is so much more to see as well as over 500 arcade games and land trains that will transport you along the pier in style!

15 Minutes from Wall Eden Farm
A twisting intertwining 3 level indoor circuit with 160cc Junior Karts going up to 40mph! With Arrive and Drive you can pick up basics training and simply get on with it: ideal for brave beginners and families racing together!

There’s a viewing gallery too however if you’ve had enough of driving yourself, though it’s worth remembering this is a lot more fun!

There’s free car parking as well as being nice and close to the town centre so there are plenty more things to see and do just under ten minutes’ walk away.
