To the Beach

Burnham, Berrow and Brean

Choose from over 7 miles of sandy beaches that run between the coastal areas of Burnham-on-Sea, Berrow and Brean Down. At the Burnham-on-Sea end you will find many shops and eateries, at Berrow the sand dunes and at Brean the historic Brean Down Victorian Fort.

Kilve beach lies at the bottom of the Quantock Hills and is now a site of Special Scientific Interest.  Kilve has amazing views, rock formations but also a wide range of fossils, predominately ammonites.

Kilve is ideal for exploring rock pools and looking for fossils, it’s great fun for all the family. Please remember to keep  away from the cliffs and to check the tide times before you go.
