Our beautiful independent holiday farm is nestled in the Somerset countryside. We have been running as a family farm since 1927, now owned and managed by Andrew Wall and his son David. Wall Eden was originally a dairy farm and Andy’s dad (Colin) milked the dairy herd here since the 1950’s for over 50 years. Sadly when milk prices fell it became impossible to continue and the family got together to create Wall Eden Farm holidays. A unique and independent holiday experience, with beautiful luxury log cabins and glamping pods that are arranged across several acres on the edge of the Somerset Levels.
We have hand built all of the log cabins from scratch following our custom designs, so are unlike any others.
Of course the addition of accommodation has completely changed our family farm as we knew it, but we still keep a few sheep and chickens and occasionally rear calves. This small scale farming integrates well with the relaxed approach to holidaying in Somerset and many people enjoy finding out more about our farm and of course, we’re always happy to explain or invite people to take part if they wish.
We love our way of life here at the farm, as it means we meet people from all over the country and world. We enjoy showing people to their accommodation and hearing about their holidays with us.
We support local trades and businesses, and aim to introduce our guests to local pubs and locally farmed foods. We encourage you to use our local baker and butcher. You can have your goods delivered to your cabin, saving you time and reducing the carbon footprint.
We are also keen on ensuring our business is both ethical and environmentally friendly, and support many interests to keep Somerset beautiful and sustainable.
